We have a fantastic opportunity available to join our Sales and Operation Planning team, taking responsibility for providing support and interaction between one of our key Customers (Morrison’s) and Weetabix operational departments.
Based at Morrison’s offices in Bradford for 3-4 days per week, you would be responsible for liaison between Morrisons and Weetabix, driving customer service and availability, forecast accuracy, visibility of customer requirements, management of promotions, identification of opportunities for mutual cost savings and providing key customer insight as an input into Weetabix’s Sales & Operations Planning processes.
The main focus of this role will be to complete daily reviews of KPIs ensuring all delivery shortages and failures are investigated and resolved. You’ll be managing promotional planning and improve availability. Taking ownership for developing and facilitating a collaborative approach between key staff and departments in Morrisons and Weetabix and managing promotion events at Morrisons, including seasonal events, NPD launch and in-store demonstrations. You will also review logistics working practices: order frequency, lead time, vehicle utilisation, delivery times and conduct end to end supply chain reviews to identify potential cost savings, maintain Morrisons stock levels within target tolerances and increase depot availability of Weetabix products.
If you have experience as an implant in a major retailer for at least one year working with FMCG goods and understanding of retail store operations and requirements then this could be the role for you.
We are looking for someone with strong customer and consumer focus and demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods. Knowledge of world-class planning systems is preferred and experience with other software packages including Windows, and Microsoft Office is essential.
This position requires strong analytical, organisational, decision making, and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams and form a robust bridge between businesses. Good facilitation skills are required.
